PERSONAL FAVORITES:
  • How you got your nickname: Easier to say on the basketball court; Teammates over the years kind of made it stick
  • As a child what you wanted to be when you grew up:  I HAD NO IDEA outside of being in the NBA
  • Favorite Superhero: Flash
  • Favorite Athletes:  Of all time: Michael Jordan/ Now: Russel Westbrook or Jason Tatum
  • Favorite Movie or TV Show:   Fast and The Furious Series 1-9
  • Favorite Food:  I like too many
  • Favorite Vacation Spot:  Puerto Rico
  • Twitter Handle: @NiejaJordan
  • Instagram Account: @nieja_jordan
  • Favorite Musical Artist: Lil Yachty
  • Goals for Upcoming Season:  Become a first-team All-American and win the conference tournament
  • Why you first chose your sport: It honestly chose me because I started out playing football (6th grade), but football was too many collisions for me. I didn’t like the level of physicality required. Basketball was the next best choice (the reason for my choice for basketball years later is way more interesting than my initial reason of choice)
  • Biggest mental challenge in your sport: The physical and mental consistency required to be a great player; Close in second place is the feeling of not being skilled enough to be the best
