FMU: First-year player at FMU.....Transfer from Enterprise State Community College, where he played two seasons....We were searching for a player with college experience and proven scoring ability, and we believe Kainan is that individual....Shot a great percentage from the floor last year, and recorded more assists than turnovers.....Will help fill the scoring void of losing All-American Brandon Parker....Will assist in backcourt rebounding as well, something Brandon and (graduated senior) Ryan Davis provided in 2018-19.....ESCC: As a sophomore, averaged 20.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game as the Boll Weevils posted an 18-11 record.....Connected on 55.0 percent of his field goal attempts, including a 34.1 percent mark from behind the three-point line, and made 73.4 percent of his free throws......Ranked fourth in his conference for both scoring and rebounding.....2-time second-team Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) All-Region 22 selection and first-team All-South Division accolades.....As a freshman, averaged 19.7 ppg.

• As a senior, tallied 17.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, 6.1 steals, 5.7 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game and was named the 3A Area 4 Most Valuable Player
• Garnered All-State honors in both basketball and football
