• Graduate of West Florence High School, where he played under coach Pete Ellis
• Posted a double-double in his lone game as a senior (missed most of the season due to injury)
• As a junior, averaged 6.1 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game
• Connected on 41 percent of his field goal attempts and 66 percent of his free throws
• Three-year letterman who averaged 5.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game in high school career
