• Born Jalen Marquis Jordan in Norfolk, Va.
• Graduate of Lake Taylor High School, where he played for coach Kenny Brown
• As a senior, averaged 15.7 points per game
• Helped the 2018 Titans to a 25-1 record and the school’s first-ever Class A state championship
• Named to play in the Virginian-Pilot Joy Fund All-Star Classic
• Member of the 2016 squad that lost in the state title game
• Nickname is JJ
