FMU: First-year player at FMU....Transfer from Spartanburg Methodist College....Coaching staff has followed him since his high school days at Landrum High School....Has always been a good shooter for a big man, and has improved his toughness and ability to score around the basket this past season at SMC....SMC:  Averaged 7.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks, while helping the Pioneers to a 26-7 record and an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament.....Connected on 45 percent of his field goal attempts and 67.2 percent of his free throw attempts....Coached by Jon Cremins, nephew of former Division I coaching legend Bobby Cremins....Also spent two seasons at USC Upstate – redshirting as a true freshman – and averaging 3.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 8.9 minutes per game during the 2014-15 season for the Division I Spartans.

PERSONAL:  Born Daniel Stephen Bridges in Spartanburg, S.C.....Graduate of Landrum High School, where he played for head coach Lyn Smith....Averaged 19 points and 10.8 rebounds per game as a senior and led Landrum to the upper state semifinals of the state tournament.....Named the 2013 Herald-Journal/GoUpstate Prep Boys Basketball Player of the Year that year and set a school record with a 51-point performance against Liberty High School....During his junior and senior seasons, the Cardinals posted a record of 48-7 record, capturing two region titles, and a runner-up finish at the A State Championship.....Nickname is Danny.
