Corey Engram enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Francis Marion University men's basketball program.
Originally from Orlando, Fla., Engram is a United States Air Force veteran having served seventeen years across the world before being medically retired in 2017. Corey played basketball in both Turkey and England for the USAF in Europe. After playing, Corey coached at the AAU level and Semi Pro Level (ABL), while living for thirteen years in Tacoma, Wash.
Engram has earned two different degrees: an associate degree in Logistics and Aerospace Management from the Community College of the Air Force (2010) and a degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources from Columbia Southern University (2013). He is presently completing a degree in psychology at Francis Marion and set to graduate in May 2024.
Engram is married to his high school sweetheart whom he met when they were sixteen years old in Great Falls, Mont., where he graduated high school at Charles M. Russell (1994). Together, between his wife Angela and himself they have six children and one granddaughter.
