Biography

FMU: First-year player at FMU....A transfer from the College of Charleston where he played two seasons....Also attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College....Looking for his addition to win us some games, while at the same time allow him the opportunity to finish his college degree.....Will be reunited with former COC teammate Blake Butler, who is now a member of our FMU coaching staff.....Possesses all the tools....Has the potential to be one of the best offensive players to ever play at Francis Marion.....COC:  As a sophomore, led the squad in hitting (.337), while hitting 12 home runs and driving in 57 runs.....Also led in hits (84), doubles (28) slugging percentage (.610) and total bases (152), while earning second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Team recognition.....Three of his homers came in the Tallahassee (Fla.) NCAA Division I Regional, where the Cougars (45-15) reached the title game and he was named to the All-Regional Team.....Also garnered second-team ABCA/Rawlings Atlantic All-Region accolades.....As a freshman, was named to the Baseball America Freshman All-America first-team as well as the CAA All-Rookie Team.....Batted .269 in 55 games and registered 53 hits with 12 doubles, five home runs, and 26 RBIs.....Slugged .406 with a .321 on-base percentage and recorded a .993 fielding percentage with over 400 chances.....Posted 12 multi-hit games and went 4-for-4 with two doubles and three runs scored in the CAA championship game, which contributed to his inclusion on the CAA All-Tournament Team.
