PERSONAL:  Born Kyle Majette in Newport News, Va....A graduate of Jamestown High School, where he played for coach Michael Kuebler.....Missed senior year with an injury....8-2 with 2.54 ERA as a junior with 68 strikeouts in 52.1 innings....Ranked the 13th-best prep player in Virginia by Perfect Game after his junior year....Had a 12-4 record over his final two seasons of high school....Named 2012 first-team All-Atlantic Region by VirginiaPrep.com.....Named to 2011 WWBA All-Tournament Team....Played travel ball for Canes Baseball....Two-time Honor Roll.
