FMU: 3-year returning letterman....Played in 16 games in 2022 and batted .268...Also pitched in seven contests.....Fanned seven  in 8.2 innings pitched....2 multi-hit games and 2 multi-RBI games....7-of-13 RBIs came with two outs....Played and started 34 games (22 in LF, 8 in CF, 4 at SS) in 2021....11 multi-hit games and 6 multi-RBI games....Batted .354 with runners on base....Tied for third on the squad with 25 RBIs....Pitched in four games in 2020 (all in relief)....ERA of 0.00 in 3.1 IP....A tall (6-3), well-rounded athlete....From the mound he throws in the mid 80’s right now....Really like his arm strength....Will have the opportunity to come in and challenge for playing time at both positions (SS/RHP)....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2019 (fall), 2020 (spring), 2024 (spring).

• Missed the 2018 season with an injury
• Twice named his squad’s Defensive Player of the Year (as a freshman and sophomore)
• Member of the Beta Club, Key Club, and National Honor Society
• Also lettered three years in basketball and two on the football squad

• Favorite Thing About FMU:  I like how close all of the athletes are here, it really does feel like one big family

• Goals for Upcoming Season:  Win the conference championship and make a regional.
• Why you first chose your sport: My grandpa and great grandpa were both in the MLB and I just grew up loving the sport
• Biggest mental challenge in your sport: Overthinking everything you do instead of just letting your athletic ability take over
• Interesting Notes: My grandfather Mike Hegan and great grandfather Jim Hegan played in MLB
• Brush With Greatness: I once threw out a first pitch at an MLB game (at Cleveland's Progressive Field)
