Justin Henle begins his first season as an assistant coach on the Francis Marion University baseball staff.
Henle most recently played (as a catcher) during 2021 with the West Virginia Power, a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, a partner league of Major League Baseball.
The Fort Stewart, Ga., native earned a B.S. degree in kinesiology (pre-physical therapy) from Emmanuel College (Ga.) in 2021. He was a two-year member of the Lions' baseball program, including the 2021 season that saw him bat .333 in 39 games with 29 runs scored, seven doubles, nine homers, 32 runs batted in, and a .516 on-base percentage.
His collegiate career also including seasons at Wallace State Community College, Darton State College, and the College of Charleston. He appeared in 139 career games and registered 12 home runs and 72 RBIs.
He is a product of Richmond Hills High School, where he earned All-State honors and was named the 2015 Georgia Dugout Club Player of the Year.
