Kennedy in Birmingham, Ala....A product of South Mecklenburg High School, where he played under the direction of coach Jon Tuscan.....Led squad to the 2013 NCHSAA 4A state championship and a 27-8 record....All-American honorable mention in 2014 by Perfect Game, and was a second-team All-Atlantic Region selection.....2-time All-Conference....Former Charlotte Player of the Year.....4-year letterman.....Ranked No.3 shortstop and No.16 overall player in North carolina by Perfect Game (No.81 shortstop nationwide).....Also played summer ball for South Charlotte Panthers....Nickname is BK.
