Biography

FMU:  First-year player at FMU....Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 17-23, 2022 and Sept. 5-11, 2022)....Transfer from Franklin Pierce University, where he played one season (2021)....Has a different style of play in goal....Very Competitive....Will have two years to play at FMU.....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2022 (fall).

FPU:  Appeared in six matches with four starts in 2021....Allowed only one goal in 334:26 for a goals against average of 0.27....Registered four saves....Two shutouts....Helped squad to a 20-1-1 record, the NE10 regular-season and tournament titles, and an appearance in the third round of the NCAA Division II National Tournament.

  • Why you first chose your sport: All my family loved this sport and it was just natural for me to play soccer
  • Biggest mental challenge in your sport: The mind is crucial in this sport, especially in the role I play, which is goalkeeper; you have to be there 100 % psychologically and keep your concentration always high
  • Interesting Notes:  My uncle coached the U19 of Cincinnati, he’s Cristiano Scapolo (ex professional player in Serie A in Italy); last year he was the assistant coach for the first team of Cincinnati; In 2021 at FPU we won our conference and the playoff, so 2 titles; I played 6 years in Varese where I also did youth sector at the professional level for 2 years
