Biography
FMU: Returning starter and letterman from the 2019-20 season....He missed the 2020-21 season with a medical redshirt...Started 14 of the final 15 contests in 2019-20....Very productive freshman campaign....Ranked 18th in the PBC in blocks (0.6 per game)....Five games scoring in double figures....Career-high 20 points at Young Harris (2-9-20)....Sixth on the team in scoring....Will give us strength at the guard and wing spots.....Played at a great program and against great competition in high school and that should make him able to step right in and battle Peach Belt Conference players....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2020 (fall).

- Born Ja'Lil De'Quan Robinson in North Little Rock, AR
- A graduate of Gray Collegiate Academy in West Columbia, where he played for coach Dion Bethea
- As a senior, averaged 11.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game and helped the War Eagles capture their second consecutive SCHSL 2A state championship
- Tallied 15 points, nine rebounds, and five steals in the championship game, earning the Defensive Player of the Game award
- Early in the 2018-19 season, was named the MVP of the Battle at the Rock Tournament
- During senior year: High School Sports Report 2A All-State Team, the 3-AA All-Region Team, and the Lexington County Chronicle’s All-Area second team
- Ranked as the No. 42 prospect in the class of 2019 for the state of South Carolina
- Played club ball with the Columbia Hoyas
