Biography

FMU: Returning letterman....Appeared in 10 games (made one start each at C and DH)....Batted .412 with a homer and six RBIs....Hit 2-for-4 with the bases loaded....2 multi-hit games and 1 Multi-RBI game....Transfer from USC-Lancaster, where he played two seasons....Very skilled catcher....Has a strong arm, blocks, and receives the ball well.....Had a really good year at USC Lancaster....Projected to come in and challenge for the number one spot....Cowan is a product of the same high as current Patriot third baseman Todd Mattox....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2021 (fall), 2022 (spring, fall), 2023 (spring)....Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll 2022 (fall), 2023 (spring).

USCL:  In 2021, hit .216 with five runs scored, four doubles, and eight RBIs....Behind the plate, allowed only nine stolen bases in 14 games with three caught stealing....As a freshman, hit .303 with 11 runs scored, two homers, 10 RBIs, and a .465 on-base percentage....Helped lead USCL to a 19-4 record before the covid pandemic ended the 2020 season....Dean's List 2019-21.
