FMU: 2-year returning letterman.... Returning for a NCAA-granted additional year because of covid 19.... Made 4 relief appearances in 2020....Averaged nearly a strikeout per inning....Righties batted only .250 against him....Pitched in 18 games during 2019 seasons (all in relief)....Averaged 11.64 strikeouts per 9 innings....1-0 mark with 2 saves....WHIP of 1.97....Transfer from Louisburg College.....Adds experience to the staff....An 86-88 mph fastball....Will likely work out of the bullpen for us, but may also start several weekend games.....LC: In 2018, made 19 relief appearances and posted a 1-2 mark with 2 saves and a 3.81 ERA....31 strikeouts and only 10 walks in 28.1 innings....As a freshman, recorded a 5-3 record with a 5.73 ERA in 16 appearances for the Hurricanes....Registered 40 strikeouts and surrendered only two home runs in 44 innings.
