FMU: 2-year returning letterman....Conference Carolinas Spring Academic All-Conference Team 2022....Played in 17 games in 2021 with 12 starts (4 in LF, 8 at DH)....Was 2-for-3 with bases loaded and 3-for-5 as a pinch hitter....1 multi-hit game and 2 multi-RBI games....Was red-shirted in 2020....Will work in one of the corner outfield spots....Was a member of the On Deck O's, where he played for coach Jason Hill....We've got a lot of respect for what coach Hill does in the summer with his players....Impressed with his overall speed and athleticism....Looking for big things from him....Part of the Honors Program....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll 2021....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2019 (fall), 2020 (spring, fall), 2021 (spring, fall).

• Born Carson Jones in Atlanta, GA
• Graduate of Fort Mill High School, where he played under the direction of coach Travis Collier 
• As a senior, batted .366 with 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored
• Helped Fort Mill win the 2019 Region III and District III championships
• As a junior, hit .259 and scored 12 runs for a Yellow Jacket squad that won 20 games
• During the 2018 summer and fall, Jones hit over .350 while playing for the On Deck O’s, a club team based in Pineville, N.C.
• In 2017, he was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Perfect Game WWBA Underclass World Championship
