FMU: 3-year letterwinner....Played #2 and #3 doubles during junior campaign....Second on the squad with 9 doubles wins....Played primarily in the #5 singles and #3 doubles positions as a sophomore....Gained valuable experience as a freshman....A left-hander...Her addition will make our squad stronger up and down the ladder....Very competitive player....Good work ethic....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll 2018.....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2016 (fall), 2017 (fall), 2020 (spring)....Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) 2018-19, 2019-20.

PERSONAL: 

• Born Magan Kimberly Head in Florence, S.C.
• Graduate of Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School, where she played under the direction of coach Beth Jones
• Helped guide the Titans to a runner-up finish at in the 2015 South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) AA State Tournament
• Two-time All-State
• In 2014, was part of a tennis duo that won the SCISA State Girl’s Doubles Championship
• As a freshman in the fall of 2012, was named the SCISA A Player of the Year while the Titans went a perfect 14-0 and captured the A state title
• Represented Trinity-Byrnes at the 2013 SCISA Individual Open Tournament, winning five matches over the course of two days to become the 2013 Individual State Champion
• In 2013, represented the Pee Dee delegation at the 47th International Children’s Games in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, a delegation comprised of 17 athletes and 42 others that competed in basketball, tennis, track and field, and gymnastics. There were a total of 74 countries that participate in the International Children’s Games and it’s believed to be one of the largest-known gatherings of youth competing in various sporting events in the world
