In August of 2013, as one of the youngest competitors he tied for 65th place among 252 golfers at the Canadian Amateur Championship in Victoria, B.C.  He placed eighth at the 2013 AJGA Ravenwood Junior Tournament with a 54-hole score of 218.  He was a two-time participant in the OFSAA Provincial Championship Tournament.

He earned his squad’s most valuable player award each of the past two years and was a four-time Principal’s Academic Award winner.  In 2012 he earned both Golf Canada Juvenile and Junior order of merit awards.  He was a 2011-12 FCWT third-team All-American for the 13-15 age category.

“These young men will be very competitive for us this coming season,” said Gaynor.  “Both possess nice games and are steady all-around players.  Both also will fit in well academically and will add to the diversity of our squad.  One of the best attributes for them is that they are excited to be coming to Francis Marion.”
