PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA – Senior Josh Dugard fired a final-round 76 to lead Francis Marion University as the Patriots placed 10th overall at the Temple Invitational on Tuesday (Sept. 22).

The 54-hole event was played at The 1912 Club course, a 6,951-yard par-70 layout.

FMU will return to action on Oct. 12-13 at the Phoenix Invitational hosted by Elon University in Burlington, N.C.

Francis Marion registered a 297-team score during Tuesday's third round to finish with a final score of 895. The host Owls held off University of Delware by one stroke to win the team title.

Dugard finished in 27th place in the players' standings with a final scorecard of 74-72-76=222.

Freshman Matthew Griffiths tied for 28th position after shooting a final round 77 to finish at 223.

Sophomore Carson Jordan carded the lowest round for the Patriots on Tuesday with a one-over 71 with four birdies and nine pars. He ultimately tied for 42nd overall alongside sophomore Chan Lee after both golfers registered a 228 scorecard.

Freshman Yu-Hsiang Shih rounded out the team score for Francis Marion, tying for 51st overall with a 73-81-78=232 scorecard.

Freshman Rohan Neat competed an individual and tied for 47th overall after carding a final round 76.

Harry Cohen of Drexel University captured medalist honors following a three-way playoff with a 74-66-71=211 scorecard.
