AUGUSTA, GA – Sophomore Chan Lee fired a four-under 140 (72-68) on Monday (Aug. 31) to sit fifth overall following two rounds as Francis Marion University opened the 2026 fall portion of its schedule at the Augusta Jaguar Fall Invitational.

The 54-hole event included 36 holes on Monday and will conclude with the final round on Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Forest Hills Golf Club, a 7,086-yard, Par 72 layout.

In the team standings, the Patriot men's golf program is currently fifth overall after shooting a nine-over 585 (297-288) and features a pair of golfers inside the top 25 on the individual leaderboard.

Lee, a native of Cancun, Mexico, carded an even-par 72 during the opening round before firing a bogey-free four-under 68 in the second round to sit solo fifth on the leaderboard. He tallied seven birdies over the two rounds of play with 26 pars.

Freshman Yu-Hsiang Shih led the Patriots with eight birdies in his debut tournament at Francis Marion and is currently tied for 22nd place. He registered a two-over 146 (76-70) and produced an impressive two-under 70 in the second round, converting five birdies and 10 pars.

Senior Josh Dugard, a product of Orpington, Great Britain, is tied for 33rd overall after rounds of 73 and 76. His morning round included an eagle on the 302-yard, par-four 18th hole.

Freshman Matthew Griffiths sits in a tie for 48th position after carding an eight-over 152 (76-76) while senior Ryan Bozard is tied for 54th overall following rounds of 80 and 74.

Additionally, the Patriots featured five golfers who competed as individuals as the entire 10-man roster made the trip to the Peach State.

The duo of senior Simon DiMaggio and sophomore Carson Jordan each posted four-over 148 to tie for 28th overall entering the final round. DiMaggio produced an even-par 72 in the first round with three birdies before shooting 76 in the afternoon. Jordan carded rounds of 75 and 73 while making four combined birdies and 24 pars.

Sophomore Cade Jordan is tied for 37th position following a six-over 150 (76-74) with a pair of birdies. Freshman Eli Jones sits in a tie for 61st overall after rounds of 78 and 79, while fellow freshman Rohan Neat recorded an 82 and 76 in his opening two rounds of his collegiate career.

The host Augusta University leads the team standings, while holding a three-stroke lead over second-place High Point University.
