Rogers named to All-Community Service Team

FLORENCE, SC – Francis Marion University junior Keirstyn Rogers of the acrobatics & tumbling team has been named to the Conference Carolinas All-Community Service Team for the 2025-26 academic year. This year's squad features student-athletes from five different member institutions.

Rogers, a native of Sumter, S.C., is a two-time recipient of Conference Carolinas Academic All-Conference honor and has previously been named to the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Academic Honor Roll. Rogers is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing and maintains a 3.38 grade-point average.

Her community service activities included working with Miracle League of Florence, Lucky Dog Rescue, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Help4Kids, while also assisting at a Long-Term Care Facility, aiding in health screening on campus, and American Red Cross.  She also volunteered with a diaper drive for the National Student Nurses Association, Florence Mom Prom in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Sumter County Disabilities and Special Needs Prom.

Being a member of Conference Carolinas prepares students to lead lives of integrity, succeed professionally and become responsible citizens. Conference Carolinas is committed to helping to build champions in body, mind and soul. The virtues Conference Carolinas' student-athletes demonstrate during practice and high-level competition are the same ones they will use as graduates and leaders to help transform our culture and make the world a better place to live. Our students are nationally recognized for their extraordinary success in the classroom, in the community and at the highest levels of NCAA competition.

One of the key strategies for Conference Carolinas is helping to provide its member institutions opportunities for student-athletes to be more involved and engaged within the community. The Community Service Team features student-athletes from our member institutions who embody all of these qualities.

Rogers is a graduate of Sumter High School.

To be eligible for the award, the student must be a junior or senior in academic status and own a grade point average of 2.7 or higher. In addition, the student must have completed at least two full-time semesters at the institution.
