Francis Marion University senior Patrick Snipes has been named to the Conference Carolinas 2025-26 All-Conference Student Support Team that was announced on Wednesday (Apr. 15).
The special award was created to recognize nominated students from Conference Carolinas member institutions who support an athletics team and/or athletics department through service in areas such as team managers, statistical support, video services and game day operations support.
Snipes, a native of Lancaster, S.C., has worked with the nationally ranked Patriot baseball program over the past two seasons taking care of music, public announcer duties, and running the scoreboard. He is a product of Lancaster High School.
As a marketing strategy major, he has a 3.41 grade point average.
Each Conference Carolinas member institution is eligible to nominate one student on their campus for the award annually. This is the third consecutive year Francis Marion has had a student awarded this honor.
To be eligible for the award, the student must be a junior or senior in academic status and own a grade point average of 2.7 or higher. In addition, the student must have completed at least two full-time semesters at the institution.
