FLORENCE, SC – Francis Marion University lost a 4-0 non-conference decision to 26th-ranked Lander University, Thursday afternoon (Match 19) in men's tennis play.
 
Francis Marion (3-7) will travel to Conference Carolinas newcomer Ferrum College for a 2 p.m. match on Saturday.
 
Lander (8-2) captured 6-3 wins at the first and third doubles spots to take a 1-0 lead.
 
The Bearcats registered straight-sets wins at No.5, No.6, and No.1 singles, in that order, to clinch the match.
