The Francis Marion University golf team will play host to the 20th-annual Wexford Intercollegiate Men's Golf Tournament, Monday and Tuesday (Feb. 16-17), on Hilton Head Island. The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Both days will begin with shotgun starts at 8:15 a.m.
The Wexford course, an Arnold Palmer signature course, measures 6,884 yards and is a par 72 layout.

This year's field includes Francis Marion, College of Charleston, Cleveland State University, Cornell University, University of Dayton, DePaul University, East Carolina University, Gardner-Webb University, High Point University, Mercer University, Presbyterian College, Radford University, Saint Joseph's University, Samford University, Temple University, USC Aiken, Western Carolina University, and Xavier University.
The event is the first in a five-tournament spring schedule for Francis Marion leading up to the Big Sky Conference Championship Tournament, April 27-29, in Litchfield Park, Ariz.

In four fall tournaments, the Patriots compiled an average team score of 293.50 per round and registered one Top-10 finish.
Francis Marion placed eighth at last year's Wexford event, which Xavier won. FMU rallied over the final few holes to win the 2022 tournament.
