The FMU baseball team, 40-13 in 2025 and picked as one of two teams favored to win the Conference Carolinas crown this season, will open its season Jan. 30-31, with a three-game series against Concord University. The two squads will play a single game on Friday (Jan. 30) at 4 p.m. and a doubleheader on Saturday (Jan. 31) at 1 p.m. on Cormell Field at Sparrow Stadium. Francis Marion's 50-game schedule includes 29 home games and a 33-game conference schedule.
The nationally ranked Patriot softball team, also tabbed the conference pre-season favorite, opens its season at home on Sunday, Feb. 1, when the Patriots entertain USC Aiken for a 1 p.m. doubleheader. The team's 52-game slate includes 30 home contests and a 28-game conference schedule.
Daily general admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, and can be purchased at the Griffin Athletic Complex ticket gate. FMU students are admitted free with identification.
Francis Marion University is a smoke-free campus, and no pets are allowed within the confines of FMU athletic facilities.
