FMU Baseball to hold Prospect ID Camp on Oct. 25

Francis Marion University will hold a Baseball Prospect Camp for high school players, JUCO players, and NCAA portal players on Saturday, Oct. 25.

The camp will start at 10 a.m. on Cormell Field at Sparrow Stadium in the Griffin Athletic Complex, and conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m.

There will be three camp options: $175 for two-way players, $150 for position players (non pitchers), and $125 for pitchers only.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION

The camp is used as a one of the main recruiting tools for FMU Baseball, to evaluate particular skills and tools of possible student-athletes.  Each session will include a full pro-style workout for position players with the running of the 60-yard dash; defensive segments for outfielders, infielders and catchers; and will conclude with two rounds of on-field batting practice. Following the pro-style workout, there will be a simulated game for everyone attending camp to display their skills in a game situation.

How you sign up for the camp will determine how you are organized and what you are allowed to do during camp.  Two-way player and position player sign-ups will be the only players allowed to participate in the pro-style workout.  Pitcher only participants will be pitching only in the game.

Camp registrations are non-refundable.
