Caroline Lucas pounded out 12 kills, but Francis Marion University fell in four sets (23-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-19) to visiting University of Mount Olive, Tuesday evening (Oct. 1) in Conference Carolinas volleyball action.
Francis Marion will host Erskine College on Friday at 6 p.m.

Mya Mendoza dished out 34 assists and dug up 13 balls for her fourth double-double of 2024. Junior libero
Katie Floyd led the Patriots with 18 digs.
Ashlyn Stone paced Mount Olive (6-6, 3-2) with 19 kills and 12 digs.
FMU captured the opening set 25-23, but the Trojans never trailed in winning set No.2. After Mount Olive won the third set 25-15, the Patriots looked to force a fifth set. FMU led 19-16 in the fourth set, but UMO closed out the match with a 9-0 run.
