FLORENCE, SC – The Francis Marion University women's tennis team closed out its home schedule on Sunday (April 11) with a 7-0 Peach Belt Conference loss to 14th-ranked Flagler College.
 
FMU will conclude its 2021 season with a road match at Georgia College on Friday at 2 p.m.
 
Flagler (10-4, 4-1) claimed the doubles point despite a 6-2 win by FMU sophomore Hermon Mikael and freshman Viktoria Leth at the top position.
 
The Saints then swept all six singles contests, although Leth took 24th-ranked Eden Schlagenhauf to a third-set tiebreaker at No.2 and sophomore Gabriel Karatantcheva forced a third-set tiebreaker at the No.4 spot.
