GREENWOOD, SC – Junior forward Kiana Adderton led Francis Marion University with 17 points, but it wasn't enough as 23rd-ranked Lander University earned an 81-54 victory over the Patriots, Saturday afternoon (Feb. 22) in Peach Belt Conference women's basketball play.

Francis Marion (12-12, 8-10) will hold Senior Night on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. as the Patriots entertain UNC Pembroke.  It is the final home contest of the year for FMU.

FMU is currently seventh in the conference standings as teams jockey for position in the eight-team post-season tournament.

Following Adderton, was junior guard Macy Passmore with a career-high equaling nine points and sophomore center Zaria Woods with six points and a game-high 13 rebounds.  Senior 6-2 center Tatyana McClaney chipped in six points and five rebounds.

Jessica Harris scored 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting to lead Lander (22-4, 17-1), which sits atop the PBC standings.
