MORROW, GA – Clayton State University used double-digit margins in the second and third quarters to secure a 76-58 Peach Belt Conference victory over Francis Marion University, Saturday afternoon (Feb. 15) in women's basketball action.

The Patriots (11-11, 7-9) will continue their three-game road swing at Georgia College on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Junior forward Kiana Adderton led FMU with 17 points and 10 rebounds to register her fifth double-double of the season.  The Myrtle Beach native connected on 7-of-13 field goal attempts.  Junior guard Macy Passmore and sophomore center Zaria Woods added nine points apiece, with Woods also hauling down nine rebounds.

Taneria Wilson led four Clayton State players in double figures with 21 points.

Francis Marion trailed by only one after the first quarter, 15-14, but the Lakers expanded their lead over the next two 10-minute periods.
