FLORENCE, SC – Francis Marion University sophomore center Winston Hill scored a career-high equaling 28 points, but visiting Flagler College made seven of its first eight three-point attempts and rode that hot start to a 94-64 victory over the Patriots, Saturday afternoon (Jan. 25) in Peach Belt Conference men's basketball play.

Francis Marion will travel up I-95 to face local rival UNC Pembroke on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The Patriots will then host Georgia Southwestern State University for Homecoming on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 3:30 p.m.

Hill connected on 10-of-20 field goal attempts and made 8-of-11 free throws.  The 6-7 Columbia native also hauled down a game-high 11 rebounds to post his sixth double-double of the season.

FMU freshman forward Jamal Edmonson notched nine points, while sophomore guard Alex Cox added eight points and pilfered three steals.

Junior guard Allante Pickens led Flagler with 17 points, while Gedi Juozapaitis scored 16.
