Box Score ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – Flagler College earned a season-split of its Peach Belt Conference match-ups with Francis Marion University as the Saints downed the Patriots 25-16, 25-17, 25-22, Sunday afternoon (Oct. 19) in Peach Belt Conference women's volleyball action.
FMU (6-14 overall, 3-8 PBC) had beaten Flagler earlier this season in Florence. The Patriots return to the court on Wednesday when they play host to nationally ranked Armstrong State University at 7 p.m.
Junior Alexzandra Reed led Francis Marion with eight kills and seven digs, while senior setter Sloane Shank recorded 19 assists and eight digs. Junior libero Jessica Amador posted 15 digs and served two aces.
Taja Valmyr paced Flagler (11-12, 6-7) with 12 kills and 10 digs, while Amelia Morgan dished out 25 assists.
