BLUEFIELD, WV – Senior forward Dee Gray scored 19 points and sophomore guard Camille Dash added a career-high 16 as Francis Marion University defeated Bluefield State College 79-65, Saturday afternoon (Nov. 23) in non-conference women's basketball action.

Francis Marion improves to 3-1and will travel to Pfeiffer University on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.

Gray connected on 7-of-14 field goal attempts, while Dash was 7-of-10.  Gray also came up with a team-high five steals.  Junior guard Briana Robinson tallied 11 points, six rebounds, and six assists, while junior forward Alexia Bell registered 10 points and a game-high eight rebounds.

Shae Mebane led four Blues (0-6) in double-figures with 11 points.

FMU shot 54.8 percent from the floor over the opening 20 minutes, including 4-of-5 from behind the three-point line, and led 43-32 at halftime.
