CARY, NC - The 30th-ranked Francis Marion University baseball team pounded out 30 hits to sweep a non-conference doubleheader from Saint Augustine's College, 10-1 and 9-0, Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 28) at the USA Sports Complex.

Senior center fielder Buddy Sosnoskie was 4-for-5, while senior second baseman Brock McCallister and sophomore third baseman Michael Wilson were both 3-for-5 in the opener.  Sosnoskie runs, and McCallister had one RBI apiece.

Junior right fielder Jarrod Reed and junior first baseman Stephen Tarkenton both had two hits in game one.

In the second game, senior righty Jarrott Hooks (2-0), Matt Broderick, and Dyson Coker combined on a two-hit shutout.  Hooks allowed no hits in his five frames.
