Morgan Krug

Morgan Krug is beginning her first season as an athletic trainer for the Francis Marion University sports medicine staff.

A native of St. Marys, Pa., she earned both her undergraduate (2020) and graduate (2022) degrees from Slippery Rock University.  She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S degree in exercise science, while she posted a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a graduate student earning a M.S. degree in athletic training.

She is a BOC certified athletic trainer and owns her South Carolina state licensure.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association, and the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society.   She has undergone NATA Safe Space Ally Training and holds other certifications from the American Heart Association, the Federal Emergency Management Institute, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the American Hospital Association.

Her clinical experiences include working with various programs at California University of Pennsylvania, Washington and Jefferson College, Slippery Rock, and Karns City and Grove City high schools.
 
In June of 2021, she received a PFATS William Tessendorf Scholarship from the NATA Research and Education Foundation.
