Michelle Reeves is entering her first year working with the Francis Marion University sports medicine staff.
A native of Timmonsville, S.C., Reeves earned a B.S. degree in athletic training from Charleston Southern University and a M.S. in exercise science and wellness, fitness, and performance from Liberty University.
She comes to FMU after serving as an assistant trainer at Erskine College for four years. She has clinical education experience working with several Low Country high schools, Trident Family Health Center, the South Carolina Stingrays hockey club, and the women's soccer, football, and baseball programs at Charleston Southern. She worked for a year as an Ultra Fit Personal Trainer in Anderson, S.C.
Reeves is a certified athletic trainer with Board of Certification, Inc., and a NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist. She is also both a First Aid/CPR/AED instructor and a CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers instructor with the American Red Cross.
She is also a graduate of Emmanuel Christian School in Hartsville.
