A native of Bishopville, S.C., and a 2023 graduate of Francis Marion University, McGee is entering his third year as Director of Facilities and Event Operations for FMU.
He participated as a mentor in the 2023-24 Conference Carolinas Mentor Program.Â
McGee graduated with Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in human resource management and sports management. While at Francis Marion, he was a founding member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and served as the organization's health and safety officer. He was also president of the Society of Human Resource Management student chapter for the 2022-23 year. He was named to the Dean's List in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
He went on to earn a Master's Degree of Eduction in Teaching and Learning from Francis Marion in Spring of 2025.
From 2018 to 2022, he has served as an assistant football coach at Lee Academy in Bishopville. During that time, the Cavaliers played in three SCISA 1A state championship games and won the 2022 state title.
He has also worked as a certified SCISA baseball umpire, including working state playoff and championship games.
