Fredy Hernandez enters his first year as an assistant coach with the Francis Marion University men's soccer program.
He earned a B.S. degree in sports management from West Virginia Tech in 2024. While working on his undergraduate degree, he worked as a student assistant with the Golden Bears men's soccer team in 2023. The Golden Bears posted a 14-5-2 mark, won both the River States Conference regular-season and tournament titles, and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament.
He has also worked as owner and operator of Usports Pro in Charlotte, N.C., and owner of Once Caldas Bogota, also in Charlotte.
