FMU: Returning letterwinner.....Team MVP for 2018....2017 PBC All-Sportsmanship Team....PBC All-Academic Team 2017....Ran in 5 of 6 races during the 2016 campaign....Placed 104th at 2016 PBC Championships....A natural athlete that recently began trying out distance running....Excited about the opportunity to run cross country, and her future is only limited by the time it takes her to assimilate to the longer distances.....After running cross country in the fall, will return to her more regular disciplines on the track....Have known Jasmine for a quite a while, dating back to her attending the university’s Activities Camp as a youngster....Is a Resident Assistant in FMU student housing....FMU Student Marshal 2017-18....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll 2017....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2016 (fall), 2017 (spring, fall)....Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) 2017-18.

PERSONAL: Born Jasmine Watson in Florence, S.C....A graduate of West Florence High School, where she competed under the direction of coaches Jim Fritchman and Chris Wegmann.....Competed in the long jump, triple jump, 200-meters, 400-meters, and relay teams.....During her senior year, she posted season-best marks of 15-6 in the long jump, 32-11 in the triple jump, 28.80 in the 200-meters, 65.27 in the 400-meters, 57.33 in the 4x100-meter relay, and 4:30.45 in the 4x400-meter relay....Four-year letterwinner in track....Served in the West Florence student council as president of her sophomore class (2013-14)....Nicknames is Jazz.
