FMU: Returning letterwinner....Local product....FMU Team MVP for 2014....2014 All-Conference....2014 All-Region....Competed in all 6 meets as a junior in 2014....Five Top-10 showings....Won the 2014 Bulldog Invitational and the 2014 FMU Invitational....Placed 3rd at 2014 Peach Belt Conference Championships and 10th at the NCAA II Southeast Regional Meet (both were the highest showings ever for a Patriot female runner).....Set new school records for both distances (5K and 6K)....Transfer from Milligan College in Tennessee....Makes replacing the entire top portion of last year's team a little easier....Very strong high school career in Florence....Has continued to improve over the last two years at Milligan.....Even with only has two years of eligibility left, could rewrite our record book.....Has a great opportunity to impact the program from the very first practice.....Quality person with a great work ethic.....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll 2015....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2014 (fall), 2015 (spring).....MC: Earned All-Conference recognition in 2013, while helping the Buffaloes to their 11th consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference championship.....Posted three Top-10 showings and placed 117th at the 2013 NAIA National Championship Meet in Lawrence, Kansas, with a time of 19:20.....Season-best time for 5,000 meters was 18:37.....As a freshman, she won the 2012 Bulldog Stampede hosted by Wingate University and placed 88th at the NAIA National Meet.

PERSONAL: Born Meagan Kristen Wright in Mobile, Ala....A graduate of Florence Christian School, where she ran under the direction of coach Andy Rush.....Prep school personal-best cross country time of 19:05.50.....Captured the 2012 SCISA state championship in the girl's 1,600-meter run, while setting the state record in the event with a time of 5:22.69.....Also recorded a 12th-place finish at the 2012 USATF Nationals in cross country.....Recorded personal bests of 5:17.08 in the 1,600-meter run, 11:49.33 in the 3,200 meters, and 2:25.99 in the 800 meters....Nickname is Meg.
