FMU: Returning letterwinner.....Team MVP 2015....Ran in 5 of 6 meets as a freshman in 2014....Two Top-10 finishes....Finished 4th at 2014 FMU Invitational....Placed 76th at 2014 Peach Belt Conference Championships....Came from a prep program where FMU has had some success already with their graduates.....Has a fiery competitive side, one that will be a positive influence with the team.....Has a great opportunity to impact the program from the very first practice.....Quality person with a great work ethic.

PERSONAL: Born Jacy Lynn Smith in Indiana....A product of Ridge View High School, where she ran for coaches Brian Rosefield and Amber Haver.....As a team captain, she finished 10th at the 4-AAAA Region Meet in 2013 with a time of 20:41.16.....Helped lead the Blazers to the 2012 region championship and a 13th-place showing at the AAAA state meet.....Finished 18th at the 2012 region meet and then 111th at the state meet with a time of 21:37.25....Personal-best time for 5,000 meters is 20:30, while other track times include 5:44 for the mile and 12:47 for the two mile.
