• Born Kyla Anne Koch in Palmdale, Calif.
• A graduate of Chapin High School, where she played for coach Jason Jolley
• As a junior, hit .405 with 15 doubles, two home runs, 33 RBIs, and a .510 on-base percentage.
• 2018 All-State and All-Region accolades and was a first-team All-Chronicle Country and All-Midlands Team selection
• Garnered honorable mention All-State recognition as a sophomore
• Nickname is KK

• Why you first chose your sport: I was really bad at soccer, so I tried softball and loved it

• Interesting Notes:  I drive a 78 Ford Bronco that me and my dad have restored; I have three certifications to work on cars; I also have a full-time job at Love Chevy in Irmo, S.C.
