FMU: First-year player at FMU....Transfer from Spartanburg Methodist College....NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete 2017....Excited to add her to our roster....The type of player every coach wants....She understands school is a priority and she has academic goals.....Wants to get stronger, understands hard work, and wants to learn.....Hit well last year and we hope that carries over to the 2017 season.....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll 2017.....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2016 (fall), 2017 (spring)....D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award 2017....SMC:  Batted .452 in 19 games during the 2016 season with a homer, 10 runs batted in, a .469 on-base percentage, and a .645 slugging percentage.....The Pioneers posted a 55-11 overall record, went unbeaten in conference play, and advanced to the NJCAA World Series.....Dean’s List student each of her two semesters at SMC.

PERSONAL: Born Caroline Lexie Heaton in Columbia, S.C....A graduate of the Gray Collegiate Academy and also attended Brookland-Cayce High School.....Played club softball with the SC Jets organization.....Nickname is Carol (but I don't like it).
