FMU:  Letterwinner....Made 10 pitching appearances (1 start) as part of the 2025 squad that reached the NCAA Super Regionals.....Posted a 1-1 record and a 3.41 ERA over 12.1 innings.

  • As a child what you wanted to be as I grew up:  Aerospace engineer
  • How you got your nickname:  My younger cousin couldn't pronounce my name, so she would call me "Yahyah"
  • Favorite fictional character:  Lightning McQueen
  • Favorite athletes: Simone Biles and Sha'Carri Richardson

  • Goals for upcoming season:  To better myself and to make a positive impact on those around me
  • Why softball?:  Growing up, I participated in a lot of different sports, but for some reason I decided to stick with softball. It almost felt like I was drawn to the sport, so eventually (because I played in more than one sport) it became the only sport that I wanted to play
  • Biggest mental challenge:  Staying confident in your ability after something doesn't go the desired way
