FMU:  Second-year athlete....College Sports Communicators XC/T&F Academic All-District Team 2023-24 and 2022-23....Chi Alpha Sigma national college athlete honor society....Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award 2023, 2024....Earned a "Top Undergraduate Poster" award at the university's 2024 Research & Exhibition Day (RED) for his work "Exploring the Relationship between Curiosity and Engineering Design Space Exploration"....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2022 (spring), 2023 (spring, fall), 2024 (spring)....Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll 2022, 2023 (spring), 2024 (spring)....Student-Athlete Advisory Committee 2022-23.

  • Favorite Thing About FMU:  I enjoy that the campus is easy to navigate and the school is not too big so it's more of a community feel; The professors here are also great and very helpful
  • Favorite Off-Field/court Activities:  Hanging out with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and playing video games
  • Goals for Upcoming Season:  My goals for this season are to run under 23 sec in the 200m, and run under 11.5 sec in the 100m; I also want to make it to the conference championship in the javelin
  • Why you first chose your sport: My original sport is baseball where I played center field and I have always had a lot of athletic ability, so I decided to run track
  • Biggest mental challenge in your sport: Trying to get better results than your last meet
  • Interesting Notes: I know how to produce beats
  • Brush With Greatness:   I threw a javelin 37.90 meters my first time-ever throwing it at a meet
