FMU: Returning letterman....PBC All-Academic Team 2017....ITA Scholar-Athlete 2016, 2017....Very successful freshman season....18-5 singles mark (mostly at #5 singles), including 6-4 in Peach Belt play....A quality person and a quality player....Will have the opportunity to step in and contribute on both the singles and doubles sides in 2016....Part of a recruiting class that addresses the void created with the recent graduation of three seniors.....One of the newcomers that will hopefully return FMU to the NCAAs.....Creates a team nucleus that will be around for two years....Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll 2016, 2017....FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll 2015 (fall), 2016 (spring, fall), 2017 (spring)....D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award 2017.

PERSONAL: Born Tarass Nigel Thévenaz in Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland....A graduate of Lycee Jean-Piaget High School....As a junior player, he was state champion in 2012 and also competed at the national championships.....In addition to individual tournaments, he also competed in club championships for CT Neuchâtel, including in “LNC” which is an open national league.....In June 2015, he was ranked among the top 200 players in the Swiss open national ranking....Nickname is T-Dog.
