FMU: First-year player at FMU.....2016 ITA All-American for doubles play....2016 All-Peach Belt Conference (second team) for doubles play....A quality person and a quality player....Will have the opportunity to step in and contribute on both the singles and doubles sides in 2016....Part of a recruiting class that addresses the void created with the recent graduation of three seniors.....One of the newcomers that will hopefully return FMU to the NCAAs.....Creates a team nucleus that will be around for two years.

PERSONAL: Born Philipp Sluga in Chêne-Bougeries, Geneva, Switzerland....A graduate of St. Michel High School, where he played for coach Patrick Minster....Three-time Junior State champion in 2010, 2011, and 2012, and also took part in the Junior National Championships.....Played interclub tennis with TC Marly in the National C League for three years....Was ranked among the top national players of his age group and his summer 2015 national open men’s ranking was 108th overall and 11th in his age group.....Nickname is Philou.
