Sarah Fuller is entering her first year as Head Athletic Trainer at Francis Marion University.
Fuller earned a B.S. degree in athletic training from Lander University in 2014, an M.S. degree in health and human performance from Georgia College & State University in 2016, and an M.S. degree in sports management from Georgia Southern University in 2020.
She comes to Francis Marion from fellow Peach Belt Conference member Georgia College, where she served as a graduate assistant in the athletic training room for two years (2014-2016), an Assistant Athletic Trainer for three years (2016-2019), and most recently as the Interim Head Athletic Trainer from June 2019 until December 2020.
A native of Elberton, Ga., she has previously worked with the Georgia College men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and softball Team Camps as a Certified Athletic Trainer, as well as, FCA Football Camps, and an Internship with the Lander baseball team.
During her time as an undergraduate student at Lander, she was a member of the Bearcats softball team and served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for four years. Fuller earned both Peach Belt All-Academic Team honors and the Bearcat Sportsmanship Award in 2011. She also served as a student athletic trainer for two years (2012-2014) and was named to the Dean’s List on four occasions.
A board-certified Athletic Trainer, she also holds certifications with the American Red Cross and as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
