FMU:  First-year runner at FMU....Transferfrom Spartanburg Methodist College....SMC:Competed for the Pioneers each of the past two seasons.....Finished225th at the 2009 NJCAA Division I National Championship Meet asSMC finished 20th in the team standings.....His best 8,000-metertime (30:20) for the 2009 season came at the Eye-Opener Meet inSpartanburg.....He placed 22nd at the Mercer RunFit SportsInvitational and later finished 171st at the Southeast CrossCountry Classic and NJCAA Region X Meet in Louisville, Ken., as SMCcaptured the Region X team title.....Altogether, SMC registeredfour Top-5 team finishes in seven events during the 2009season......Named to the spring 2010 Dean’s List.....ThePioneers earned NJCAA Academic All-America Team honors in 2008.

PERSONAL: Born Ryan Michael Woloszyn in Greer,S.C....Graduated from Eastside High School, where he placed 82nd atthe 2007 Class AAA state championship meet.  He also competedon the Eastside track and field squad, including the 1,500-meters,5,000-meters, and the javelin......Polish ancestry.....Nickname isWaldo.
