Savanah Webster

Savanah Webster is entering her second season as an assistant coach with the Francis Marion University softball program.  The Las Vegas, Nev., native also serves as the university's Cheerleading Advisor.

Webster earned her undergraduate degree in business administration from Marshall University in 2014.  She played two seasons for the Thundering Herd, including batting .326 with seven home runs and 32 runs batted in as a senior.  During her junior campaign, she hit .250 with four homers and 13 RBIs, while being named to the Conference-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Prior to attending Marshall, Webster spent two years at Salt Lake Community College, where she was a two-time All-American (once first team and once second team).  Both years, SLCC finished as the national runner at the NJCAA national tournament.  As a freshman, she batted .503 and registered 13 homers with 53 RBIs.

She spent the 2015 spring as a student assistant at Marshall, with the Thundering Herd posting a 35-15 record.

Webster has past experience as an assist with the Las Vegas Rage 18U squad and as a private softball instructor.  She has taken part in the Sweet Heart Clinic for children ages 8-to-12, and worked with Monica Abbott and Leah O'Brien Amico at Marshall sponsored clinics.
